Capt Mason T. Jenkins is the Operations Flight Commander, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC), Detachment 215 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He is responsible for AFROTC cadet classroom instruction and cadet wing operations for the Detachment.
Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Capt Jenkins is a graduate of Purdue University. He commissioned into the United States Air Force through AFROTC Detachment 220 in 2019. Capt Jenkins completed the Weather Officer Course in December of 2019 and has gained experience in large-scale regional forecasting, Army combat weather operations in an overseas location, and weather operations supporting the air mobility community. Prior to his current assignment, Capt Jenkins was the Weather Flight Commander in the 19th Operations Support Squadron, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas.
